I always like to push my 3D Max skills and like to create little peices such as this. There was no breif, it was simply created as a bit of fun.
How it was Done
Each of the elements were modeled using 3D Studio Max. The texturing was mostly procedurally generated using 3D Studio Max, but some elements, the fireplace exterior for example, was unwrapped and skinned in Photoshop.
All lighting and rendering was done using Vray.
